Finding articles, Books & more with OneSearch

OneSearch searches across the Ort Library's resources and collections. It brings together article databases, the library catalog, and e-books, as well as other online resources provided by the library all with a single search. Search results also include books from other Maryland academic libraries which may be requested for delivery to Frostburg.

Finding books, videos, and more with CATALOG USMAI

Catalog USMAI is the catalog for the University System of Maryland and Affiliated Institutions, a consortium of eighteen academic libraries in Maryland. Catalog USMAI is a combined database of all items in these library collections

Finding specific databases with A-Z DATABASES 

Locate one of approximately 85 individual research databases available to the Frostburg State University community in this alphabetical list.  You may also view the databases according to category, type or provider or search for a specific database.

Using Subject and Course Guides

Subject Guides and Course Guides are customized web pages created for specific subjects or classes at FSU. Subject guides will provide links to recommended databases and other resources for a variety of subject areas. Course guides are created for specific classes.

Resources for Online/Distance Education Students

OFF CAMPUS ACCESS 

To access databases, journals, and other online resources while off campus, use your 14-digit library barcode number and your last name to login. The 14-digit library barcode number is located on the FSU ID card and is also available in PAWS(Finding your barcode on PAWS, PDF document.)
